Watercolour on Paper | 40cm x 58cm

From the Curator:

In Riflɛkshɔn dɛm bɔt Sakvil Strit Krio for Reflections of Sackville Street — John Francis celebrates a vanished landmark from Freetown’s 1990s skyline. Painted from a photograph he took before the civil war, the work glows with nostalgia and pride. The watercolor’s soft blues and yellows echo morning light over the city he once knew, transforming memory into a luminous reflection of what endures beyond loss.
